Dr. Villar is a graduate of A.T. Still University and a member of the Kois Center, one of the top dental research and training institutions in the world. He has won awards for his technical abilities and implant dentistry. His training consisted of providing a wide variety of dental care to patients across the nation from Washington to California, Arizona to Wisconsin, and Maryland.

Michael Pennington, DMD
Dr. Michael Pennington brings advanced clinical precision and a deeply patient-centered philosophy to Roswell Dental Studio — delivering comprehensive, elevated care designed for lasting oral health.
After earning his dental degree from Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine-Illinois (CDMI), Dr. Pennington dedicated his career to mastering functional dentistry and occlusion. As an active member of the world-renowned Kois Center, he applies rigorous, risk-based treatment planning to every patient he sees — ensuring care is not just reactive, but predictive and preventive.
His advanced training spans precise root canal therapy to complex surgical implant dentistry, always with a focus on outcomes that are structurally sound, predictable, and beautifully natural.

Gloria Alvarez-Kiely, DDS, Retired
Born in San Jose, California and raised in Medellín, Colombia, Dr. Alvarez-Kiely earned her dental degree in Medellín in 1992 and completed her DDS at Loma Linda University School of Dentistry in 1996. She has practiced continuously across several states, including four years in Texas, and has served the Johns Creek community since 2004. In 2014 she acquired the practice from Dr. Robert Evans, leading a full renovation and introducing advanced technology to elevate patient care. After more than a decade of stewardship, Dr. Alvarez-Kiely has entrusted the practice to new ownership. She remains deeply grateful for the patients and relationships built over the years.
